The first time I read his name was on this record, somewhat in the early 1980s. A four-LP-set. Later, because of its mediocre sound quality, Einstein on the Beach became my first CD set. I never saw the opera on stage, which I still regret.
I've never been a big theatergoer, but I've never missed Robert Wilson's productions at the Thalia Theater in Hamburg.
